Default Sonic Chronicles: The Dark Brotherhood (#1731)

Feel free to correct the translation of the Japanese release title. I don't know if there's an actual official translation of it.

If so, why not using the romanization of the Japanese title?

Because I thought romaji titles weren't allowed as the display title, and an English equivalent was always required.
So, in this case, the romaji title alone would be already valid?

I thought any unofficial translation wasn't allowed in product names (just like an album title in VGMdb). In my submission, I've normally been using the romaji as a display title. That often makes it clearer that the romanized title is the Japanese release, and the others are Western releases.

...but maybe I was just dogmatic about this, since I know not few editors use unofficial translations, macrons or even phonetic romanizations, none of them is allowed in album titles. Little wonder some have a different rule for products than albums.

Ahh, you're definitely right. Then again I've been out of the loop for quite a while, so, sorry for the mistake. I'm even more inclined to just have the romaji title here. (Besides 95% of people will already refer to US name anyway).
