I noticed we're currently crediting David Whittaker and Wally Beben on this album, but their names aren't on the back cover with the others I linked them, I know................). Were they actually involved in some way?
Also, questions about the contents, because I don't actually have this album. I see "ORIGINAL VERSION MEDLEY" as the last track; are the other tracks arranged? Also, is the music from the NES version of Tetris or another one? |

To answer your second question(s): yes, the tracks are arranged; & they are from the Famicom version of Tetris by BPS, which is very different from the NES version.
Edit: All tracks on here are arranged, even the last one; although it tries to sound closer in style to the originals. Last edited by Jedi QuestMaster; Mar 29, 2010 at 09:52 PM. |

There have been a few edits to the game field, and now it contains a bunch of platforms. In light of what Jedi said, these need further explanation.

I searched out the X68000 version of Tetris, and it is also made by BPS.
In fact, not only does it have the same music, but it sounds like the source of where the last track (the medley) came from. Anyone with a Nicovideo account can judge for yourself: http://www.nicovideo.jp/watch/sm9063805 Despite all this, the album image is taken straight from the Famicom version of Tetris. :/ |
