What an odd combination of tracks. It seems like some of the picks are somewhat random.

It's a time-line history of what their label released during the time period shown (1999~2004) What's strange about that? They picked one track from each album. It only seems like a random selection until you look at the catalog numbers and see that they go sequentially.
Although they did have to skip over many entries, otherwise this approach would have turned it into a huge multi-disc set, and this was merely a reference catalog item. I was able to pick this up second-hand from Otokichi, quite a lucky find, although I'm not sure how many of these Scitron gave out. Last edited by Carl; May 29, 2009 at 07:20 AM. |

I understand how they ordered the albums. I meant the track selections seemed random. In my opinion, there are clearly better, and/or more popular, tracks they could have picked from several of these albums.

Very lucky to have just acquired this. Just finished listening to this in its entirety and there appears to be an error in the track list. Track 35 says theTitle Theme from The Legend of Zelda: The Wind Waker but it is actually the theme from Dragon Roost Island that plays. The track list is correct on the actual CD so it appears to be a little mix up on the track list on this database, but I caught it.
