Yep, it's fan made, and fully licensed. I'm one of the guys over at Joypad Records... and that's pretty much what we do: help artists gets the rights to legally distribute remixes and covers. Cheers!

Will there be a catalog number added sometime soon? personally, I think that will be a great way to expand on this media.

We're all about doing right, and it's nice to know that composers actually get rewarded for fans' creations.

All of our releases are licensed and fully legal. While I wouldn't say that everything we do is "endorsed" by the original composers, we have gotten a lot of great feedback from copyright holders... which is pretty much the reason why we're still doing what we do

Why is the same artist credited twice on this? Correct me if I'm wrong but Braxton Burks = Skotein, no?

Interesting. Yes, it should only be credited as "Skotein." Edited.

Thanks GermanSeabass. When I saw it I thought originally that maybe someone was able to determine it actually wasn't the same individual. I guess maybe it was an oversight when someone edited it.

[Products represented: Pokémon Red & Green]

Why was that changed?
On the cover it says "Pokémon Red and Blue" not Green..

That's a byproduct of linking the release to the Pokémon products we have on the database. As the music on the first Pokémon games is the same, the product called "Pokémon Red & Green" also includes Pokémon Blue and Pokémon Yellow.

Hey all, Skotein is Braxton Burks's old pseudonym. He's updated his name and identity to his real name, and with it, the album art that Materia Collective is re-releasing.

As far as I know, there's no way for us to use a different name on the original vs. reprint due to the way the system works. It would have to be submitted as a separate release.

Oh okay, that's fine. I'll re-submit it then.

That won't be necessary. I've separated the entries for you.
