I had forgotten how different is the FDS sound compared to the NES release!

So there was no Ganon laugh in the FDS version? Main reason I listened to this. Wish they had included the different versions, like the Dracula Best disc did (sort of, partially).

Famicom 20th Anniversary Vol.2 and Nintendo Sound History have two tracks from the NES version, but neither of them are the Game Over laugh.
