In case you don't know yet, ナムコ = NA MU KO = 7 6 5 (indeed, this is the number many Namco games let have the special meanings).

As such, I think the price was set earlier than most of the details, perhaps even the possibility of the release.

Thanks for the tip on the NA Mu Ko part, I knew that 765 was somehow related to other Namco albums like "765 Megamix" but didn't know it connected to their name.

I wonder if anyone knows the full story on the number connection.

I am sure it's like Konami, they had a label under the number 573.
