question about translation on Lupin III albums

just for a best/definitive translation order that match all hundreds Lupin albums on the database, I ask you the better translation of some famous Lupin songs published and republished:

The classic "ルパン三世のテーマ" can be translate to "Theme of Lupin III" yeah but on old '80 classic albums we have "officially in western characters" this translation "Theme from Lupin III". Generally albums from early '90 lost the western writing to the japanese. So which do we follow? The official english translation of old album or the literal?

Which is the best translation for "ルパン三世 その"?
I really hate this "Lupin nr." but also "Lupin sono"... Simple "Lupin III the"?
