I hope I have this right, but I remember virt saying something on IRC about the developer not liking the idea of making the soundtrack downloadable. He managed to twist their arm to put it on soundcloud, on the premise that downloads could be disabled.

So I guess just use Flashgot or whatever

But many of the soundtracks he's made for WayForward have been released digitally for free or a low cost. So it might've been the publisher or whoever owns the show who told them "no downloads". :P

I don't understand that. What do they have to lose if they don't plan on selling the soundtrack?
