Default Major Update 3/6 -- New Tracklist Submission

This is a massive update, primarily covering the submission and display of tracklists, bringing about the following changes:
  • All new tracklists are now immediately viewable in the database.
  • Tracklists submitted by staff and trusted editors now bypass the moderation queue.
  • Staff can moderate new tracklist submissions using the new tracklist moderation panel.
  • When viewing an album, the page no longer reloads when switching between tracklists.
  • Tracktimes always come from the default tracklist now (note, we may need to move some tracktimes around.)
  • Translator Credit and Link added to tracklist display and to tracklist input form.
  • Tracklist submitter/editor time/name added to display.
  • Edit menu added to tracklist display.
  • Staff and Trusted Editors can delete tracklists by selecting Delete in the tracklists Edit menu.
  • Did extensive sewing in the database, to correct the userIDs of tracklist modifications and submissions.

The next task I'll be tackling will be Tracklist Editing.

In other news, managing albums and folders in collections should work now (e.g. deleting albums from your collection.) This was a tough problem, but apparently vB changed how it handles arrays of inputs on forms.

I just thought of something while browsing the new track list display (nice work, by the way). Would it be possible and worthwhile to have a "Total Album Duration" count at the bottom of the tracklists for multi-disc albums? It adds up the track times for each disc, but not for the complete album. Just a trivial idea.

It's possible to do. I'll have to think about whether it makes sense to total all the discs.

Sounds good. (I don't know why that post showed up... I posted and then it disappeared. Ignore (delete) that other one in the other thread.

That was because of the forum permissions. I'd accidentally set the News forum to send posts to the moderation queue.

EDIT -- Tracklist editing now works for staff & trusted editors. It doesn't have all the extra function (add&delete tracks) that the CMS has, but I kind of prefer the basic function. Once the moderation queue is working, it'll be available for all users.
