With the new Black Wii Model that took out Gamecube support. It was bundled with a sleeve copy of NEW Super Mario Bros. Wii and this soundtrack.

Weird thing is that it looks like there is 2 US printings as one of them has a yellow background and the other has a bronzie background similar to the japanese version. I thought it might have been camera reflection when taking the photo, but it looks like they're seperate prints.

Is the English track list the same as the European?

I don't think so, when I get my copy I'll take a picture of it.

Edit: Found a picture with tracklist

Backing up my previous statement it does indeed seem theres 2 printings. The ones pictured below are from the 'yellow' version, not the bronze (mind the watermarks).
Spoiler:

Seems the Disc ring states NTDO-17239, interesting. I order the 'bronze' version as well to take a closer look at these. Will post scans when they arrive.

My concern is, which of the two is a reprint? I'm also thinking that it should go as a seperate album instead of a child album due to the tracklist languages, hopefully a mod can help me with that.

Scans are up, new catalogue number. I will ask if the mods move this as a seperate entry instead of a child album for the Club Nintendo Japan release due to its language tracklist.

Well I have both US prints and the 'Yellow' version (NTDO-17239) in my opinion seems like it was printed in 'Japan' and not US. I will explain why:

•All Nintendo of Japan CD releases have recently been disc ID'ing as NTDO-XXXXX, while Nintendo of America is unofficial been using XXXXXA for its CD releases.
•Under the 'bronze' version it says in very small print Arvato Digital Services which is located in NC, US. 'Yellow' does not.
•'Bronze' version has cheap sleeve case compared to 'Yellow', typically happens to all US VGM prints.
•'Yellow' has a gold disc while 'Bronze' has a bronze disc.

Discuss.

The pricing region field is used to note where it was released, not where it was manufactured.

Great detective work!

I know this is an older thread, but curious your thoughts on the value of the bronze version. What do you think a CD like that is worth?

Here is a photo, to be clear which one I am talking about. Now I'm confused, maybe I'm talking about the yellow version? See photo below

Don't know if the one in your foto is the yellow or bronze version, I'm lost in ᄐv๑–X²'s explanation, but it's definitely this one. 75418A has a different inscription in the disc's bottom.

I can't understand how the CD have arrangements described as "arrangements" even in the booklet and not have a classification of "arrangement" too. I think if there is a song that is credited to another composer that wrote it originally before and is being arranged by another person in the album, it should be classified as "arrangement" too. Well, I sure know there is a LOT of variants, like cases of little references in songs that can't be considered "arrangements", that are more original songs, but IN THIS CASE, I think we should classify it as "arrangement" too, since songs 3, 27 and 28 are more arrangements than original music (aside crediting the original composer in the booklet).

I'm requesting the changing to the classification of all the releases of this game's albums. If I did anything wrong, please tell me

EDIT: I was trying to add a classification, but it turns out I don't know how to do this, and I accidentaly added two more CDs :O
I can't take them out, so please, if some staff member could do, I'll be thankful.

I think the album being classified as arrangement needs to have a song that was arranged but not used in game. If BGM were arranged by another composer and used in game, I don't think it applies, but I could be wrong.

Well noted, dissident93. After I commented, I started to stare at my CDs and think about it. I think you're right too. Sorry for any inconvenience.

Any ideas as to why the sleeve has the extra slot on the right side. It looks like a booklet was planned but then scrapped and the sleeve design unchanged as a result.
