Oh look, another one of Sawano's crazy tracklists. I'm not even sure what to put the language as. I guess it's sort of Japanese.

Someone else seems to have figured out track 9.

Quote:
美 = Bi
♂ = Osu (Japanese for male)
K = (same)
+ = (same)
$ = Stylized S
タす = Japanese for plus (+)
pAd = pAd

Put together we get, "Bios K + S + Pad". K stands for Kobayashi Mika, S stands for strings, Pad should be obvious (synth).

Unknown as of now. I can say that the singer doesn't sound like anyone who's previously performed on Sawano's soundtracks (that I can remember).

Perhaps musician credits are provided with the blu-ray. It was only released yesterday so we will know soon enough.

I'm not convinced by that explanation
the theme songs collection thing uses MK, so why using only K for kobayashi
and having two +, a + and a tasu for saying plus
I don't know, I find it bizarre

if it's really that, I'd rather go with something like "Kobayashi + Strings with Pad" (like for saying piano maybe)

Maybe it's just Sawano being confusing. The track does feature Mika Kobayashi, however.

Feel free to change it if you think it's somewhat incorrect, though.

the tracklist for the another side 02 has sT for strings
so I wonder if that $ really means strings for that one (it makes a while I'm thinking it could be "synth pad")

I noticed that too. I think I'd be more inclined to go with the Synth after seeing the SIDE 02 tracklist.

$タす still doesn't really make sense though.

Sawano likes to be confusing sometimes so what applies to the Theme Song Collection might not apply to this album or his other soundtracks. There also isn't really anything that K could represent in the song aside from Kobayashi.

To be honest, adding the word "with" to the title would just end up being very confusing for the Japanese. + and tasu gets the point across sufficiently for them as also seen in BD4's OST. Also, Sawano's most common symbols for conjoining are "-" "&" and "+", he never uses something like the Japanese "と".

The titles for Another Side 02 are named in a very different manner from the rest of his work though. Like Theme Songs Collection and BD2's CD, one set of rules doesn't work for the other. Now the next part might sound contradictory, but Sawano has had many instances of using $ as a stylized "S". Unlike "K" or "MK" or "sT", this is a common symbol found in many of his works, "80$$","交響$weet 1st-Mov.: st-RING", "B∀TTL∃field$". His name on the official site is also stylized as HiR0YUKI $AW@N0. Also, why would $ represent Synth Pad when he already has "pAd" in the title?

I'm impressed at how quickly you guys got BD4's bonus disk correct though. While 美♂-K+$タすpAd was easy for me, I couldn't figure out tracks like pF-AdLibⅠor 1616.

I find the alternative name of track 4(血痕一儀) is named "結婚の儀" in gracenote(itunes), seems to be more meaningful. Which should I choose?

sorry but 血Con(血痕->bloodstain) is very far from (結婚->marriage)
I think in the anime there is a scene in a sort of church between shu and his sister(?) but I can't remember whether it seems to be a marriage ceremony

honestly, it'd be very odd to use 血Con(血痕) to mean 結婚 (even if the pronunciation is equivalent, a certain meaning should subsist)
or it's a strange pun to mean marriage ceremony

edit: I could go with it if other people agree

if the bloodstain/marriage thing is correct, we're probably looking for a different scene from the anime (the one where a marriage ceremony does involve blood. The church scene doesn't have anything to do with marriage.. just a lot of blood and fire)

Anyone have scans of the tracklist in the BD booklet?
