@Tomenaki:
The tracklist is a bit chaotical right now, maybe it's better to submit a new one without cases of repeated or missing tracks? Anyway, is there a need to keep the other tracklist (14 tracks one ofc)? |

Yeah, I've been trying to fix the longer tracklist, but for some odd reason "track 71" keeps showing up despite it not existing. As for the shorter tracklist, I have no idea what's going on there. lol I've tried what I can to fix both, but nothing seems to work. Maybe I just don't have the right permissions or something.

When it comes to adding/removing tracks from the tracklist normal users don't the privileges. Staff, admins, and trusted editors will be the ones to do it.

Please add a new tracklist, I've deleted the old ones so they don't get in the way now
Leaving them as a reference or whatever: Quote:

The only problem with the longer tracklist above is that track 71 is there. It's not meant to since it doesn't exist on the album. I'll get around to posting the new tracklist, so thanks for the help guys.

"Birth of the Anima" was doubled up too (tr. 5 & 6). Or was it intentional?

Oh, I didn't even see that, let me double check the soundtrack. I feel like it was just a track miss-type.

And there we go. For some reason the final battle track, Alea Iacta Est, wasn't on there. I was wondering how there could be a double track and yet still be all 70 songs listed. Thanks guys, I really appreciate the help.

I hate to post again, but is there a way to delete a link in the "Available at" section as well?

Yea, but a mod has to do it. It told me only VGMdb staff can, even though I'm a Trusted Editor.

Ah thanks. If a mod would be so kind as to do that on this album please, I screwed it up with the regular link section. :/

Thanks for fixing the tracklist!
Have one more question: is/was there a place where you can/could (legally) download this concept OST, not just stream it? Better to say, was this published as a free download at some point? (I realize this was added here in 2009, but still...) I kinda remember VGMdb has a few streaming-only OSTs as an exception (not sure though), but I think the general rule is that only published (on a physical media or distributed digitally) albums can have their entries here. The question could apply on other concept OSTs from this composer. Last edited by Efendija; Sep 4, 2012 at 02:15 PM. |

Unfortunately, the composer hasn't had a chance to post this album anywhere for download. He's currently working on a more professional and complete portfolio site where he can do something like that. As of now, the only official release/place to listen to it is on the playlist I added. I'm guessing he will release a version of the soundtrack like he did with his first three albums once his site is complete. This site, by the way: http://soundtracks.hostzi.com/ I realize the soundtracks have probably since been taken down, but he did release Fractured, Third Eye, and Edge in MP3 format for free before.
I'm sure you guys get this a lot, but I actually work with Duncan as his primary Sound Consultant, been working together since late 2008. I've been working on this, and his other albums, since he's focused on making more music for various game projects and the portfolio site. I do appreciate the help you've all given though. I'll see if I can talk to him about releasing these concept albums somewhere for download and such and get back to you guys. Last edited by Tomenaki; Sep 4, 2012 at 10:34 PM. |

I can upload the soundtrack(s) to Bandcamp as a free/NYP album and provide links to there, possibly. I was originally using my Bandcamp page for only official albums, but I think adding some concept albums wouldn't hurt.
http://soundtracks.hostzi.com is kind of obsolete now. I've been trying to contact the web host to get them to take it down so I don't have this random site floating around, but no dice there. I'll pass the links to Tomenaki once I've finished uploading the soundtracks to Bandcamp. Thanks again Tomenaki for helping out and reorganising this stuff, I do appreciate it, as always! |
