Does anyone know why this release is only disc 1 of the Japanese OST?

Could be licensing issues, could be that they just wanted to release the instrumental music.

You could try asking Milan Records. They have a contact form on their website.

Just to add it's not only disc 1 of the JP OST, it's a combination of both discs (there are vocal tracks here, almost all of them actually).

Yeah, I just realized that as well. Will probably hit them up on Twitter. Either way, I'm really glad to see this on Spotify even if it is a release with less tracks.
