Hello.

I did the recording for this soundtrack. Just thought I would add some extra info.

It's recorded from the Jukebox in Tyrian 2.0 using a Sound Blaster 16 CT1740.

The bandcamp release is currently based on a LAME MP3 VBR -V 0 encoding I sent to Alex, which he then re-encoded, tagged and uploaded to his website.

If you want to have this in it's original quality you have to get it directly from me. There's also a missing track "The Navigator" which is not available in the bandcamp release.

Also made some minor changes to my version of the OST.

- Added the comments from Alex's rss feed into the comments field. http://alexanderbrandon.bandcamp.com...nal-soundtrack

- Added some more cover pictures (back cover, art).

- Changed genre from nothing to Game.

FLAC version:

Part2:

Also made a MP3 version which is tagged like in the Jukebox:

I hope it's okay to post this here. The soundtrack is free after all :)

Well, if you have the rights to distribute the music, then there's no problem.

This looks to be the same soundtrack that's distributed with Tyrian 2000 on GOG.com; should that be noted somewhere in this entry?

I was about to ask the same question, NaturalChemical. The version with GOG comes with a different front cover too, but the audio itself seems to be exactly the same.

Hmm...

I added the gog info on the notes, this should be noted if the album is similar, but i don't think it's worth a reprint.
Feel free to upload the cover too, though it will not be the display one.

Teppic,

If you're still following this thread, just wanted to say things for the info, lossless version, and additional cover art. I just got around to processing the GOG version, and was pleasantly surprised to see your post here. I'm downloading the FLAC version now to replace the MP3 version.

Thanks!
