I'll let the pros fill the credits. I don't know if the CDs will be reprints of the Japanese ones.

Also, there is no official announcement of this edition for North America yet.

Yeah, the thing that may or may not be new is the remix soundtrack. Sure, there are remixes on the original soundtrack, but they could all fit on 1 disc with the new original music. Interesting find though.

I hope this is not a Remix Album made by European artists like Namco used to do 15 years ago. That's what that ''European edition'' is making me think.

I found this some days ago.

these could be the remixes and they are released three days after this collection.

I think the new tracks are good, though those who already own the ORIGINAL SOUNDTRACK might be happy with that alone.

My favourite's still the first one's DIRECT AUDIO 'arrangements', but the second isn't bad.

The new tracks really blew me away actually! Really happy I picked this up. Taku Inoue's Battle Cry is brilliant as is sanodg's Gallery Parallax.

Disc 1 length is way too much for uncompressed CD audio... How are the tracks encoded? As mp3?

Yes, it's stated also on the disc label.

Thanks, haven't looked at the scans... A bit of a bummer, they wasted second disc of the arcade OST for 13 minutes of music, and couldn't use another CD for OST here :(

edit - but I guess it would really need 3 CDs for OST alone (and fourth for remixes), so mp3 option was sort of a middle ground.

Keigo Hoashi told me he was responsible for the Odeum of Illusions stage, at least for the big band parts - which is most of it. ID3 tags apparently say Keiichi Okabe though?

Nobuyoshi Sano posted on his Facebook page that the Remix Disc is digitally available (DRM free) exclusively at Juno Download (which caters to DJs apparently).
Album is $10.99 for MP3 or $19.99 for WAV files.

Track 23 says "Quiet Strings Mix" on the cover.

Would it make sense to add the digital release of the second disc as it's own release? It has a different name, cover art, doesn't include the first disc, the tracklist is in a different order, and some of the tracknames are slightly different.
