The crossfade demo linked in the website section was an official MP3 released on the old PHOENIX Project website.

https://web.archive.org/web/20060112...001_infla.html

This site also lists track #7 with the subtitle "benevolence", but that subtitle first appeared in the renew edition of Inflammation in August 2002, which is a separate album that I'll be adding soon. The original album and the older sites did not feature this subtitle.

I'm curious about something here. Does anyone else recall any old Mega Man remixes by Yuu of Pheonix Project? I could never find any information about this on the net, but I still have some mp3s I downloaded from some random MM site eons ago:

Guts Man Stage ~Melodious Hard Rock~
Air Man Stage (from GB MMII)
Dr. Wily Stage (from GB MMII)
and I believe there is a Magnet Man mix from MMII GB (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kkOKMwqqTf4&t=5s)

Is this the same/correct Yuu?

Yes it is indeed! Yu- of PHOENIX Project released a series of arranged MP3s based on the Mega Man / Rockman series starting on his older p-p.afz.jp site in late 2002, and more MP3s were added under the same category on his p-pr.info site until 2006 I believe, with the Spark Man stage remix from MM3 being the last one if I recall. I originally downloaded most of the remixes from this Spanish blog a long time ago, and I had no idea what this "Project-R - Rockman Series Arrange Project" was: http://rockman-music.blogspot.com/20...e-project.html

This download actually contains an MP3 of Bubble Man's stage from MM2 that I still to this day don't know the origins of, but the guitar is definitely Yu- of PHOENIX Project. The download also has the unarchived MP3 of the stage select remix from MM6 that was apparently made in 1999 and is one of Yu-'s oldest works (a MIDI download for it can be found in the p-p.afz.jp archives). At first, I didn't know if "Project-R - Rockman Series Arrange Project" was an album or not, but when I discovered the internet archive in 2017, I found out everything.

You can check out the most completed archives of the original R-Project on p-p.afz.jp here, and other guest artists such as Eru/Aether, Yamamo of the circle "in the blue", and Azu♪ of MUSiC na Kibun♪ contributed also. Not everything was saved unfortunately from what I remember, but most from this project was, especially all of Yu-'s arrangements that I know of.

The rest of the MP3s by Yu- that were added to the R-Project group starting in late 2004 can be found here: http://web.archive.org/web/200702071...:80/music.html

The 2 MP3 arrangements by Yu- on p-p.afz.jp that were not included in the Spanish blog download or listed on the music page of p-pr.info were "Heatman Stage -HEAT BEAT mix-" and "WilyMap -ロックンロールワイリーVersion-" from MM2, and miraculously these were archived!

This should be pretty much it - let me know if you have any other questions, and I hope you enjoy!

That was most informative; thanks. I'm just kind of happy to know someone else is aware of this work. Like I said, I ran into it by complete accident years ago - but those tracks have stayed with me.

You're welcome! I've been a fan of Yu- / PHOENIX Project for over 6 years now, and I love informing other people about his works! I forgot to mention that a MIDI with a text file for "GUTSMAN STAGE -MelodiusHR-" was saved on the internet archive as well, so here's the link for that if you're interested in checking it out!
