I made some corrections to the track titles.
I wanted to explain, by the way, track 2-05, "イン・ラケチ". This is correctly transliterated as "In Lak'ech", unfortunately, because it's so obscure (it's a Mayan phrase (a greeting, I think?) that means something like "I'm another you", which should sound familiar if you've played the Persona games before), both Atlus USA as well as fan-translators have transliterated it incorrectly (an example I've seen is "In Laqetti"; I don't recall exactly what Atlus USA used in Eternal Punishment). I actually made that change a long while ago, but I wanted to leave a note here to explain it and clear everything up regarding the phrase, since it's so often incorrectly transliterated. I also wasn't sure exactly how to translate 2-19, "聖槍騎士団". I believe, in the game, the "knights" are referred to as "Holy Knights", so I'm not sure if I should've used "Holy Knights of the Spear" (which sounds odd), or "Holy Knights of Longinus" (which is what the "spear" refers to, and sounds less odd, but would be deviating from the original track title). It appears a new soundtrack will be bundled with the newly announced remake, but the release date is currently only specified as "this winter", and we even don't know it's 2010 or 2011, the minimum information VGMdb require, so I wonder if it's a bit premature to add...?

I changed the possesive in some tracks, since they are written in a particular manner in Japanese.
Ie.- Ginko Theme/ギンコ・テーマ (or Ginko - Theme) instead of Ginko's Theme/ギンコのテーマ. The remake uses the latter so I thought it'd be nice to separate them. Also I may be stating the obvious but I bet Celine Tasaki/せりーぬ田崎 in 1-47 is just Toshiko Tasaki. The lyrics are in English too, lol. EDIT: extra credits derived from the AST (KICA-5046), also adding alternate versions since they share the same base. 02 Open your heart: Maya (1-22+2-24+1-04) / Tsuchiya 04 Luv beam: Eikichi (2-47) / Kurokawa 06 China luv: Ginko (1-21+1-42) / Tsuchiya 09 X trip: Kurosu (1-12), Joker (2-25), Eikichi Sad (1-13) / Kurokawa 12 I'm in you: Philemon (1-10) / Tasaki 16 Truth I need: Yukino (1-24+2-20) / Tsuchiya I'm not sure what track (if any) is meant to be 18 Persona Mambo. Also for reference, these are the credits given in the bonus disc from Persona 1 (KICA-5033~5) 1-22: Kenichi Tsuchiya 1-29: Toshiko Tasaki 1-47: Toshiko Tasaki 1-50: Masaki Kurokawa Last edited by Dag; Mar 2, 2011 at 10:55 AM. |

Here's a good question: Between JOKER and Persona Ondo, WHICH SONG is the Ending Theme?

I'm talking about the fact that tracklist is on gmr for a long time (and by long time, I mean like 2-3 years and it was renewed)
but maybe nobody browses it (gmr) anymore? :/ (note that I only saw that post because zhane posted something) |
