When you upload a portrait, there are two fields that should be used to provide a site-name and link for the picture. We really need to include these for every picture we upload. There have been cases where an artist has mentioned on their website or twitter account that their VGMdb artist page has either the wrong picture or a picture that wasn't mean for public view. The link helps to prevent these kinds of pictures from ending up on there. The one exception to this is when an artist uploads their own personal picture to their page (which sometimes happens).

Perhaps we should start requiring the fields to be filled in, instead? Don't allow passing the form if a picture has been uploaded without the fields being filled, that is.

I thought about that, but we still sometimes have artists who update their own pages, and I don't think they need to cite a source for their own pics.

Couldn't you simply add another condition for those cases in the code?
