It's interesting to notice that while in Japan the staff went the extra mile to name the ninth track "遥かなる凱旋" (attempted translation: Distant Triumphant Return), in the European release they totally disregarded the subtle nuance, preferring to go again with the title "Beginning".
If I am not mistaken, the only four instances of a particular rendition of Beginning being given the title of "遥かなる凱旋" are in the 1989 album 220A-7721~3 (Konami Special Music Senryoubako), in the 1990 album Akumajo Dracula Famicom Best (and reprint), the 1997 MIDI Collection and in the 2007 PSP game Akumajo Dracula X Chronicle (and relative ost). It looks like it was also released on the "Konami Sound Catalog Vol.2 <Special Digest Disc>" (8DCH-90052) in 1990.
I'm not too surprised that the European release decided to dispense with the alternative title though as there doesn't seem to really be anything that ties this rendition of the track to the arrangement from the Famicom Best albulm over say any other version of Beginning.
