Are you talking about this? Ishikawa handled only 4 out of 12 arrangements. Is there another CD out there somewhere?

Eggerman 3/Adventures of Lolo 3

Both Ishikawa and Hideki Kanazashi are listed as composers. Anyone know if this is accurate, or one or the other did the music while the other did sound programming/SFX/whatever?

I checked and it doesn't look like either the English or Japanese version of Lolo 3 has end credits, so while Ishikawa + Kanazashi is plausible, I'm skeptical about the attribution without additional evidence.

This may or may not mean anything, but I didn't see any of the bigger Japanese references crediting Ishikawa for Lolo 3 ([1] [2] [3]); it only seems to be English sites.

More than likely those crediting Ishikawa are speculating and don't have a source, being that the internet is a wild west where anything goes, apparently. But for what it's worth I have to agree with them, I personally feel confident Ishikawa worked on Lolo 3.

Lolo 1 is just Kanazashi, right? And we don't know anything about Lolo 2 either?

I'm not super familiar with Eggerland/Lolo series music, especially regarding reuse of music between games, so lemme just dump the credits I can find:

Eggerland Mystery (MSX): ?? (possibly H.SUGI = Hiroaki Suga)
Meikyuu Shinwa (MSX): ??
Eggerland (FDS): SOUND COMPOSER: ZAP AJISAI (Kanazashi)
Eggerland: Meikyuu no Fukkatsu (NES): SOUND COMPOSER: NIGE NO KANAZASHI
Eggerland: Souzou e no Tabidachi (FDS): ?? (no staff roll)
Adventures of Lolo (NES): ?? (no staff roll)
Adventures of Lolo 2 (NES): ?? (no staff roll)
Adventures of Lolo 3 (NES): ?? (no staff roll)

I see attributions of Kanazashi to Lolo 1 in particular because of music reuse, but again I don't know enough about the tunes to speak with any certainty.

Couldn't find a thread for Kirby Robobot's soundtrack (guess it hasn't been released yet), so I'm posting here: this song https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nHYO143lyaU sounds very familiar; very Imura like. Anyone knows what I mean?

Souzou e no Tabidachi/Lolo 1 and 2 have the same music as the previous Eggerland games (that credit Hideki), so Kanazashi did those ones for sure.

I'm almost 100% positive he did Lolo 3, but my question is, since it uses the newer version of the HAL sound driver, if Jun Ishikawa and/or Hirokazu Ando contributed to the game?

Sometimes the Japanese versions of games released in the USA sometimes have credits, I took it upon myself a long time ago to play through the Japanese versions. However, still no credits. I do have a contact from HAL. Not sure if he knows.

I was reading through the booklet of the Kirby Star Allies soundtrack and it states that Ishikawa worked on the Adventures of Lolo series, so there's some positive evidence! It's not specific toward which game, but I think the third one is certainly his work.

The translated quote pretty much states "His first job in game music was 'Space Defense Force', and after working on several works such as 'The Adventures of Lolo', he worked on the first 'Kirby's Dream Land'." (from the page 21 bio).
