Venus & Braves. I had my fingers crossed when it got a PSP port, but sadly no dice. It's one of my favorite RPG soundtracks from Namco.

Nama Baseball 68 for the X68000. Amazing soundtrack that will surely never be released.

Check out this sample:

The Ninja Warriors Again -This already exists as "disc in natsume", it features Snes kiki kaikai on the same CD.
I'm surprised to see Chaindive mentioned, that game has made me a fan of Technouchi the composer.

I would like:
Alcahest - Arcana - Bomberman 64 Second attack - Verytex - Iridion 2 - Earthbound (the only release has cut down, and missing tracks) - Paper mario thousand year door - Illusion of gaia - Macross scrambled valkyrie - Ristar - Air Zonk - Sutte hakkun

These can be listened to by playing the game disc in a CD player, but I still want a standalone release
Sonic 3D blast
Lords of thunder

I'm still waiting on my Snowboard Kids, Battletoads, Farland Story, Mother, Turrican, Cho Aniki, and Ninja Turtle Boxes to hopefully one day be announced. Also want a Zoom Reversible Sound Team box. A Pandora Box Collection would be nice too for their games. A compilation box of certain Banpresto published Super Famicom games would be great too like Dragon Knight 4. And we all know the tragedy that is Donkey Kong Country: Tropical Freeze. After some years many of our dreams have come true recently though sometimes ruined by cassette only, digital, vinyl releases, and bad mixing on certain CD soundtracks.

And one day Hal Laboratory needs to get it together and do something about Alcahest. Super Variable Geo is another nice Super Famicom gem that is sadly forgotten.

I also always wanted a full remastered version of the Super Famicom version of Tokimeki Memorial. If it was a perfect world, I'd also want a box set of the unreleased Falcom Super Famicom games and Brandish VT/Sorcerian [PC Engine] while we're at it.

The whole Legacy of Kain franchise deserves official+complete releases, over the years there have been attempts at line-in recordings, but audio quality of those isn't consistent.

Other games that would benefit from "expanded" and/or "Volume #" releases are Overwatch and Dead by Daylight: yeah, they did get official releases, but as anyone who played them for a decent amount of time could tell you, their albums are missing quite some music.

EDIT -
Hell, even (The Adventures of) Alundra's soundtrack is vastly incomplete, good thing EP fixed that, for the most part (some loop points screwed up here and there).

EDIT #2 -
Saw a very old message mentioning Bloody Roar 2, props for doing that, even though some tracks are included in the Bloody Roar 3 official release.

True.

Another game without a soundtrack that came to my mind is Kuon, a survival horror released on the PS2, game developed by FromSoftware.

Aside from the Armored Core series, very few pre-Soulsborne From Soft games got proper OST releases. I'd really like to get a box set for King's Field someday to replace those two "best of" albums we got instead.

That's a shame, well, in the specific case of Kuon, that game didn't really have too much success outside of Japan… Not really surprising that it didn't get a soundtrack release.

Other games without soundtracks… Dog's Life (a PlayStation®2 title that allowed you to be a dog, it was rather fun) and Baldur's Gate: Dark Alliance Ⅱ also didn't get a proper soundtrack — unlike its predecessor; I remember adding to the database a iTunes release with a few remixed tracks, but that's about it.

Yo, Dog's Life music is the sh*t. The composer, Alastair Lindsay, mostly does music and sound production for big name games these days (Nioh, Shadow of the Colossus HD, Bloodborne) but back in the day he had more composition credits to his name, including the excellent Tempest 2000 soundtrack.

Glad to see I'm not the only one liking the music for Dog's Life, there's an unofficial rip of it floating around the web, better than nothing.
In these days I'm playing Nioh's three DLC expansions (Dragon of the North, Defiant Honour and Bloodshed's End)… I wonder if any of them received an official release. I know that in the database there's a "Nioh Complete Edition Mini Soundtrack", but what's on that one can also be found on the original soundtrack.

Whoa. Someone else likes this music besides me? Maybe we should ask Carlo Perconti if he has the rights to publish his own soundtrack?

I was thinking of making a full 8-bit doujin release:

Another game which has yet to see a proper official release is [PROTOTYPE] - a PS3/X360 game, for a few years the soundtrack could be listened to/streamed online at this URL (yeah, composer's website didn't have SSL encryption at the time), but it no longer works. The album was comprised of 21 tracks, variable bitrate MP3, God bless third parties browser-extensions that allow you to download audio, huh?

I assumed Legend never got a soundtrack release because some of it is... uh... "borrowed," let's say.

Dunno if it's close enough to constitute as outright plagiarism, but the title theme is very similar to Birth of the People from Actraiser, the overworld theme is very similar to the waterfall stage from Golden Axe: The Revenge of Death Adder, and the boss theme is very similar to the boss music from Turtles in Time. Not sure if there are others.

'The Mill' theme is reminiscent of Back to the Future.

Another early PS2 title that didn't get a soundtrack is Shadow of Destiny (known as Shadow of Memories in the EU). I have fond memories of that game.

I'm surprised practically nothing from the original Crash Bandicoot games ever had soundtrack releases. I know they recently released the redone music from the N.Sane Trilogy (digital only), but I would love have loved to own the original versions on CD (especially Crash Bandicoot Warped, which has the most memorable music of the original trilogy, in my opinion).

Kessen Ⅲ is a game that would also deserve an official soundtrack release, its absence is baffling, since the first and second game did have one each.

The Battletoads series in general doesn't seem to have any CD releases, but Battletoads Arcade doesn't have one at all. Tracks like this deserve an official release!

Not fair at all, there was lots of fantastic material in that series, especially the ones that were composed by David Bergeaud (like Size Matters & Tools of Destruction, aside from the first few games).
