I'm puzzled. According to CD Japan this release was postponed, but there is already a rip floating on the net. How can this be?

Ah OK, makes sense. I (again) forgot the KonamiStyle-exclusive release.

How does the staff usually deal with situations like this? I was thinking of converting this entry to the first print version (the LC one) and the adding the (widely available) GFCA version as child album. Or is there a more elegant solution to the problem?

Or one can add an LC release and then we can hook it with this entry as the parent. I think either way is fine (although the current scan might be exclusive to the regular edition).
btw, has Konami changed their catalog scheme? It'd usually be LC1928~1929. |

Shouldn't the parent be the version that was first released?

Yeah, it basically should (unless they are released on the same day). I tried to mean adding the LC one and then connecting to this entry as the parent of the GFCA one.

OK, but that's not something I can do, right? I only see the option to add child albums to already existing entries.

Albums hooking/unhooking is done via the Staff Panel. If you or somebody else adds a new album separately, we'll take care of it.

Right, thanks for clearing that up.

Im not sure they changed their scheme I think LC#### is their disc scheme? I don't have many Konami CDs. All my Silent Hill sounds box CDs have an LC catalogue number on the discs but the actual set and individual cases are still labeled GFCA.

I think this scheme is a little bit different because the second disc is a DVD rather than a CD. If they were both CDs, it would probably follow the usual naming convention.

I noticed the question mark at track 14 (ZETA - One Who Transcends the World of Primes).
I have thought about it a bit and at least for me it looks like a mathematical play on words: ZETA = Riemann zeta function A basic result by Leonhard Euler connects the zeta function to the prime numbers (the "Euler product formula"). Both the zeta function and prime numbers belong the area of number theory. "Transcend" or "transcendental" is another term that belongs into that area, again Euler was kinda involved in coining it. With this context the track title kinda makes sense. |
