I updated the notes as the composer credits were apparently missing for tracks 161~168.

On a sidenote, the website looks different, is it me or? I don't recall the navigation menus being at the top of the page.
And there's no more composer credits for tracks 121 onward, what's up with that...


A more serious note, I still hope they'll release a physical version one of these days, I wanna see that boxset on my shelf.

Hey, just submitted an updated tracklist based on the latest OST zip with all 298 tracks, scraped the website for titles, and used ffprobe for track lengths, rounding up from .5. Rounding seemed to be all over the place with old tracks so they all follow the same principle now. Cheers for everyone who's helped maintain this, it allowed me to discover it .

EDIT: Looks like it didn't add the new tracks :/. Is 205 the limit? Or does the track count need to be increased some other way?

EDIT 2: Submitted as a new tracklist, hopefully this was the correct way. Sorry for the noise :/.

Edit: Interestingly silhouetti is not listed on the website as a composer although he's tagged in the mp3s. But the mp3 tags don't seem very trustworthy anyway. And it looks like they don't include sensible tags from track ~160 and up.

Edit 2: Just realized silhouetti is an alias for ESTi, so this makes perfect sense.

Finally worked up the courage to update the notes with up-to-date composition / arrangement info, so that's done. At this point I've pretty much automated the process of keeping my OST collection up-to-date and scraping / converting the metadata, let me know if anyone is interested in it.

Next step that I'd like to implement is fixing the ID3 tags for all tracks, but I'm not sure what to put in the e.g. "artist"-field. For tracks that have only one composer/arranger it's pretty clear cut, that's the artist. But if they differ, what would be a proper artist name?

Let's take track 2 for example, is the artist, the composer, the arranger, or both?:
a. Artist: ESTi
b. Artist: DINY
c. Artist: ESTi, DINY

La Tale started releasing covers for tracks some time back. I'm wondering whether or not these should be added to VGMdb? I archive these as well, deduplicated copies are available at the following Box link:

Yes, those can be added. You can name them "Front (M01)" "Front (M320~225)" etc
