At least Amazon does MP3 v0 instead of 320k.

Maybe Jake will release it in lossless formats on his Bandcamp later.

I doubt he could do that considering Disney.

Yeah... it's never gonna happen.

This is a Walt Disney Records album. So the best we'll get is Amazon MP3. We might get a physical release one day... and possibly a FLAC version if the game is ever released in a Humble Bundle of some sort (which is even less possible considering DISNEY and CAPCOM.)

Walt Disney Records has a lot of albums available through Qobuz which only sells lossless but the catch is, no Epic Mickey 1 & 2 there and those are practically the only game soundtracks

edit - I take that back
http://www.qobuz.com/album/epic-mick.../5099909522954
but still no Epic Mickey 2

Huh, anyone know just how odd this release is? The stage music is looped about 1.5x while the rest of it actually is a bit longer than two loops....very strange.
Also missing the logo music, RIP
And it's missing an alternate version of The Himaleyas which I've seen in a game rip, but I'm guessing it's not actually used in the game.

And interesting trivia for those not in the know -- the credits song is from the CD from waaay back in 1990 from this CD: https://vgmdb.net/album/42135 , slightly alteredly lyrics and all.

The game is being delisted from storefronts on August 8, 2019, with an implication that re-downloading won't be possible.

Presumably the soundtrack may also be pulled from sale at this time. Get the FLAC on 7digital if you're worried.

When did it go back up on 7digital? I visited that page several times a couple months ago and got an error message.

I don't think it ever left. In checking the links after learning about the delisting, I also got a 404 from 7digital. However, searching for DuckTales brought me right to the soundtrack.
Here was the original URL:
Code:
https://us.7digital.com/artist/jake-kaufman-capcom/release/ducktales-remastered-official-game-soundtrack-3459293
At some point 7digital modified the original URL to remove -capcom, invalidating our link.

FWIW given it's published by Disney -- not Capcom -- it might stay.

I remember asking Disney a while back if they had plans on releasing this in the U.K. They said ask Capcom, then Capcom said to ask WayFoward, then WayForward told me to ask Disney.

At any rate, it looks like I probably will never be able to get a hold of this album.

I've considered it, but not really sure on the legal side of that, as I would still need a U.S. Credit Card and address, right?

Not sure if people can gift MP3 downloads from Amazon U.S. to a U.K. address, either.

Wait, do you really need a US credit card and address? I was under the impression that you could make a different Amazon account for each region and order and ship wherever you want.

I believe you do for MP3 downloads. It won't let me download the music with my Amazon U.S. account, anyway.

Yeah but what I'm asking is have you tried making an Amazon UK account and buying it with your American credit card that way?

The problem is that I am from the U.K. and I have a U.K. Credit Card. The DuckTales Remastered album is on the U.S. site and Amazon says I need a U.S. Credit Card and U.S. address to get the album.

The album isn't available on the U.K. Amazon site.

The game is once again available for download/purchase:
