From what I can gather so far, klicktrack.com appears to be offering the album in two formats; MP3 and FLAC, as opposed to other websites, such as Itunes, Amazon, etc, which are in MP3 only.

Yes, that's usually the case at klicktrack. Also a good source to pick up the catalog number for these digital-only Sumthing releases.

Also, I forgot to ask, what's exactly remastered here, is it the soundtrack itself or that remastered (perhaps) refers to the PS4/Xbox One edition while the OST is exactly the same?

It's the soundtrack itself. The audio quality supposedly is enhanced or some track sound effects are re-edited. I compared the two as well, and noticed some tracks sound a little different from the original release, or so. Also, the length of the track times aren't the same as the original releases.

I think we can expect subsequent releases, as obviously it seems there's more volumes to follow.

Thank you. Although I don't know if such (smaller) alteration would qualify for the "Remaster" classification here, I'll select it for the time being.
