I'm pretty certain that the release year is slightly inaccurate, it should be 1995 not 1996.

This is going off the back of my own personal copy, information featured on on Amazon.jp and the Darkstalkers wikia, all three of which attest to it being 1995.

so...
why did my edit got reject about adding in products the OVA series and pointing out that "trouble man" is also the ending theme of the anime?
Even if this single dates back from the OVA release, what is the problem of at last the notes sections pointing out this issue?

The OVA was released 2 years after the single, and the single doesn't mention the OVA (of course, since it didn't exist yet), so in this case the product shouldn't be added.

I don't think it should be written in the notes either as it would be a mess if every single/album got edited every time a song gets reused in something which didn't even exist when the album came out.

So.... write it down.
I disagree. Even if the single does not show anything about the anime, it was still used for the same merchandise. I'm sorry, but I see no problem in "later used as ending theme for the OVA"

I recently found out that Eikichi Yazawa also did the credits theme for the Japanese release of Darkstalkers, it's titled "The Rain" and alledgly it only plays if you beat the game without using any continues. Does anyone know if this track was ever officially released? Based on what little information about it that I can find it looks like it probably wasn't. Apparently there was a Japanese version of the song titled "予感の雨" that was released on the album, "この夜のどこかで" though.
