Check it out, Cocoebiz gets mentioned in the Extra Thanks section of the "Staff" credits on the Liner Notes, as "Kahori & Alby" (Alby is a local guy there in Saitama hired to help run the biz & shop).

Cool to see them listed in the credits! (And on booklet page 5, during Iwadare's comments)

That's pretty cool, yeah =D I remember they were given similar credit on the Mario & Zelda Big Band Live release as well.

Ahh, I forgot all about the Mario & Zelda cd, I was trying to think if they were mentioned in any other official albums....

A recent pending edit removes Hideki Okugawa from the composer list. Looking it over, I tend to agree, since he only composed 11~13 on GS 4. The only question is whether the music from either of those tracks appears on the GS 4 courtroom medley track. If no one knows, I'll try to check them out tonight.

For me, the “Gyakuten Saiban 4 Courtroom Suite” have, respectively, “Gyakuten Saiban 4 – Trial”, “Questioning ~ Moderato 2007”, “Questioning ~ Allegro 2007” and “Pressing Pursuit ~ Cornered” (this track was composed by Hideki Okugawa).

Thanks for clearing that up. I rolled back the removal of Hideki Okugawa.

Sadly, the CD booklet for this album doesn't list individual composers for each track. It just lists overall contributing composers for the CD: Masakazu Sugimori, Akemi Kimura, Noriyuki Iwadare, Toshihiko Horiyama, Shu Takumi.
It doesn't list Hideki Okugawa anywhere, not that I'm particularly arguing with Revoc.

Looking at the composition info for the soundtrack CDs I've come up with a rough list of which composers were responsible for each track. I doubt it's perfect, so that's why I'm just putting this in the discussion. Also I'm not yet familiar with the music of AA4. I don't have access to the soundtrack cds, so I don't know for sure if a particular composer didn't contribute a melody to any of the courtroom suites.

Arrangement for all tracks was done by Noriyuki Idaware.
Haruka Shimotsuki provided vocals for track 8.

Composition:
01 Housuke Odoroki ~ A New Trial is in Session!
Toshihiko Horiyama

02 Gyakuten Saiban 1~3 Courtroom Suite
Masakazu Sugimori, Akemi Kimura, Noriyuki Idaware

03 Toranosuke Shibakuzou ~ Swingin' Zenitora
Noriyuki Idaware

04 Godot ~ The Fragrance of Dark-Colored Coffee
Noriyuki Idaware

05 Great Revival ~ Reiji Mitsurugi
Akemi Kimura

06 Gyakuten Saiban 4 Courtroom Suite
Toshihiko Horiyama, Akemi Kimura, Shu Takumi

07 Villain Suite
Akemi Kimura, Noriyuki Idaware

08 Loving Guitar's Serenade
Shu Takumi

09 Mayoi Ayasato ~ Gyakuten Sisters' Theme
Masakazu Sugimori

10 Gyakuten Saiban 3 - End
Noriyuki Idaware

11 Oo-edo Soldier Tonosaman's Song
Masakazu Sugimori

12 Ryuuichi Naruhodou ~ Objection!
Masakazu Sugimori

I hope this is helpful. I'd be happy to hear any further input.

Oh wow, I was really impressed before I realized you made each of those songs links! I would have believed you with just a text list. XD You're very awesome.
I wonder why Okugawa got shafted on the orchestra CD credits, hehe.

Any idea if the "Gyakuten Saiban 1~3 Courtroom Suite" actually contains melodies from all three of the composers involved with the first three games?

I added a statement about this question.

It's perfect. You can listen here. Btw, I noticed that this suite don't have the "Allegro" variations like in the Gyakuten Saiban Orchestra Album ~Gyakuten Meets Orchestra~.

"Gyakuten Saiban 1~3 Courtroom Suite"

00:00~02:36: “Gyakuten Saiban 2 - Prologue ~ From J.S. Bach 'Toccatta and Fuga in D minor BWV565'” – Akemi Kimura
02:36~03:28:“Gyakuten Saiban - Trial” – Masakazu Sugimori
03:28~04:24: “Examination ~ Moderate 2001” – Masakazu Sugimori
04:24~05:30: “Investigation ~ Overtaked” – Masakazu Sugimori
05:30~06:35: “Gyakuten Saiban 2 - Trial” – Akemi Kimura
06:35~07:24: “Examination ~ Moderate 2002” – Akemi Kimura
07:24~08:19: “Investigation ~ Cross-examining” – Akemi Kimura
08:19~09:38: “Gyakuten Saiban 3 - Trial” – Noriyuki Iwadare
09:38~10:35: “Examination ~ Moderate 2004” – Noriyuki Iwadare
10:35~11:54: “Investigation ~ Cross-examining” – Noriyuki Iwadare

I noticed that some eBay listings and vendor listings have associated this soundtrack with a UPC barcode and it is attributed to Sony Music Distribution (USA). Is this a legitimate release, because none of the scans for this album on this site have a UPC barcode.

Examples:

they just are bad at naming their stuff, but the jan code is the correct one for that release so it's perfectly legit

Hi Phonograph,
Thanks for confirming this. Since we don't list UPC/JAN/EAN codes on the album, I wasn't sure what to make of it.

LOL

Thanks for checking the data! If you can add those codes when you have time, that would be great. No rush.

After looking at some of my CDs, I saw that barcodes are usually on the obi, which isn't necessarily available with every album on our site.
