UHQCD format is applied on this release.
I reported to SS and have it added about a month ago, but it isn't yet prepared on advanced search.
Apparently it's a kind of high quality audio CD format like SA-CD.

Although, I question the usefulness of adding either to the db. Ultimately, UHQCDs and Blu-spec CDs are still normal Red Book audio CDs.

There are a bunch of formats beside those nstz mentioned like Blu-spec 2, HDCD, XRCD and so on, maybe we should have another field for them instead of changing them from CD.

Providing more detailed CD formats looks like not so bad idea.
As long as we have SA-CD already, I think the rest of formats would be considered by admin.

SA-CD is actually a different format rather than being just a regular redbook audio CD made with a different manufacturing process.
That being said, a lot of SA-CDs are hybrids that can be played on regular players too.

I agree we should show the info somewhere though so if adding a new field is too much work, that's fine.

So, I am torn on this now. If the format plays in all existing players, then does it really need a new media type? On the other hand, we have Flexi Discs in our media list. They play in any record player, though they are physically and distinctively different than regular records.

On the other hand, you've got a quality difference, as mentioned in the linked discussion. That alone might necessitate adding these formats to the media list. especially if there are wide-ranging reprints of some of the game/anime music catalogs because of this.
