Question Monster Boy and the Cursed Kingdom composer info

As a fan of this excellent game and of the music, as you may know the composers are some of the best of the best: Yuzo Koshiro, Motoi Sakuraba, Michiru Yamane, Keiki Kobayashi, and Takeshi Yanagawa, with the main theme performed by Haruka Shimotsuki.

Any idea of a composer list for the tracks? I have my guesses, like the main weapon shop theme maybe Koshiro and there is a sewer level that sounds very Castlevania-like so probably Yamane. Any ideas or guesses for who composed what? The soundtrack alone took them 2 years to make, well worth the cost of the game just for this collection of awesome music.

There's a breakdown here: https://www21.atwiki.jp/gamemusicbes...ages/7693.html

No idea if it's just speculative though.

The game audio files have composer tags with those credits, so it's probably accurate. "Credits" is apparently composed by Sakuraba and performed by Shimotsuki btw, and there are some arranged(?) tracks not in the breakdown by "Banjo Guy Ollie".

Yes! I forgot about Ollie's tracks. You collect music sheets for him throughout the game and can unlock 7 more arrangements, then he will play them for you in the main town square (Village of Lupia) similar to Shovel Knight. I added them to the list above.

Updated with the official track names from the Monster Boy Jukebox, which I found you earn after unlocking a secret area! Added the missing entries, specifically the 8 and 16 bit arrangements. This should be a complete list now, only missing a few composers.

Default Exact credits anyone?

Hi there, sorry for reviving an old thread but I need help with that soundtrack.

I'm an early backer of Monster Boy and the Cursed Kingdom on Kickstarter, got my copy, played it and loved it. Unfortunately, I couldn't get a hold of the collector's edition and had to resort to other ways of getting the official game soundrack.

Thanks to VGMDB and moreover to JAMMAPARTS' post, I managed to get most of the track info right... But I'm still missing some! Also, I noticed some of the info available here or elsewhere is inaccurate, like a track being attributed to Cédric Joder when he was just the arranger but not the composer.

I got from a few pics of the 64 pages booklet of the CD soundtrack that all music credits are clearly mentioned in it, more accurately than in the game's sound test mode. So, I'm wondering if anyone got that booklet, or scans of it, or proper track credits from it? Thanks a lot to anyone who can help.

Also, I stumbled (on Mobygames) upon the name of the mysterious "Special Guest Performer" Banjo Guy Ollie: his name is Olivier Longuet. So I tagged those tracks with Olivier "Banjo Guy Ollie" Longuet as the artist. Feel free to update yours if you're as monomaniac as I am. ^^
