To anyone reading this,

This is my translation of the Japanese Ending Theme of the A.D. Police TV Series 「時の中で」(Toki no Naka de, In Time) by マーシャ (Masha)

First of all, I wanna credit tipota, the one that subbed the anime and that, of course, includes the OP & ED Themes. Though, these are the lyrics for the full song. I based my translations of the lines that appear in the TV version on his, but changed it here and there to my preferences (so, some of them are the same, meaning I liked how he put it and so left it as it is). So therefore, credits to him/her also.

----------------------------------------------------------------------------------

暗闇の中でも 光はあるはずと
そう君は 教えてくれたね

Kurayami no naka de mo hikari wa aru hazu to
Sō kimi wa oshiete kureta ne

Even in the darkness, light exists
Yes, that’s what you really taught me

振り返ると 遠い過去の様に
過ごした日々 消えかけていく
大切な事 分からないまま
先も見えずに 立ち止まったまま

Furikaeru to tōi kako no yō ni
Sugoshita hibi kiekaketeiku
Taisetsu na koto wakaranai mama
Saki mo miezu ni tachidomatta mama

Looking back at (what looks like) the distant past
The days we spent start to disappear/vanish
Not knowing what is important
Not seeing what’s ahead, standing still

若き頃は 幻をぶらさげて
すべてを捨て 街にとびだす
手をのばしてもたどり着けない
仕組まれてる夢には

Wakaki koro wa yume wo burasagete
Subete wo sute machi ni tobidasu
Te wo nobashite mo tadoritsukenai
Shikumareteru yume ni wa

In the young time, a dream dangles
Appearing in a completely abandoned town
I’m reaching out my hand for you to get here
Arranging/Devising our dreams

鏡の中の影は 偽りの幻
手に出来ない 白い証だね
何が起きても 君を離しはしないから
終りのない旅に向かおう

Kagami no naka no kage wa itsuwari no maboroshi
Te ni dekinai shiroi akashi da ne
Nani ga okitemo kimi wo hanashi wa shinai kara
Owari no nai tabi ni mukaou

The reflection in the mirror is the illusion of deceit
The white proof that we can’t touch
No matter what happens, I will never let you go
Let’s start the endless journey

目を開いて 恐れないで
熱い想い 抱きしめ

Me wo hiraite osorenaide
Atsui omoi dakishime

Do not be afraid to open your eyes
Having a warm feeling to hold someone tight

もう逃げない この場所で
そう君と二人で冷たい月に手を伸ばして
何が起きても 君を離しはしないから
待ち受ける 永遠に向かおう

Mō nigenai kono basho de
Sō kimi to futari de tsumetai tsuki ni te wo nobashite
Nani ga okitemo kimi wo hanashi wa shinai kara
Machiukeru eien ni mukaou

Not being able to escape from this place anymore
Yes, the two of us reach(ed) out our hands toward the cold moon
No matter what happens, I will never let you go
Let us wait for eternity

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------

I'll probably do the insert song 「Belong to...」by Ayako Kawasumi (川澄 綾子) next...

And so, last but not least, here's my translation of the Japanese Opening Theme of the A.D. Police TV Series「Imaginary Girl」by infix

Again, I wanna give credit to tipota for the same reason as before.

今夜も君の魔力に誘われ
飛び込む Night tripper
この愛に容赦なくムチを打つ
目眩のエクスタシー
頭脳蝕む甘い誘惑
手のひらで踊らされてるマリオネット
不思議な君の魅力に虜さ
正体見せないシャドー
謎めくほどに深みにはまって
もはや抜け出せない
銀のネイルでハートをえぐる
君は天使かそれとも悪魔か!?

Konya mo kimi no maryoku ni sasoware

Kimi ha tenshi ka soretemo akuma ka?!

This evening, I am tempted by your magical powers/magic,
fly/plunging Night tripper
Mercilessly beating this love with a whip,
dizzying ecstasy
Your sweet temptation eats at my brain
A marionette dancing in the palm of my hand
My curiosity falls victim to your charm
The true identity/character of the shadow isn’t shown
Going into the deeper limits/places that are wrapped in mystery,
but no longer finding your way back out/but not finding your way back out anymore
Hollowing out/gouging/excavating the heart with a silver nail,
are you an angel or (are you) a devil/demon?

So... that's all of the vocal songs that appear in the franchise known as ´A.D. Police`. Enjoy!

tipota romanized songs too or it's you?
reminds me of my romanizations at chudahs-corner.com (r.i.p.) --only times I capitalized katakana words

Yes, that's completely my work, sorry if me capitalizing the first letter of a katakana word at the beginning of a sentence annoys you. It's merely a preference of mine, as I feel it looks ugly when kept lower case.

And, you just did romanizations of songs? No translations?

I said capitalized katakana words, not first-letter capitalized katakana words
and it doesn't bother since I was doing that too

about 10 years ago, I was romanizing lyrics for chudahs-corner.com (webarchive has those) and I romanized more or less according the actual pronunciation of words (but sometimes I was putting the loanwords in brackets)
I don't remember how many romanizations I did for her, maybe 20-30 or more (I remember ar tonelico ones and some haruka shimotsuki songs tho)

Oh okay yeah, sorry, I misread. I thought you were talking about me starting the sentence with a capital letter (other people do tend to keep all romaji lower case). About the English loanwords in Japanese, yeah, I mostly do it this way. Though, only if there's a huge amount of them in one song (in this case for example). I don't do it when there's only like 1 in the whole lyrics.

Uh-huh, I see. Interesting! Did you stop because you started having less and less time for it or something (it does indeed take some time to romanize a song, even more so if you can't find the kanji online and you have to decode them all yourself + even translating the whole thing)?

I had lyrics from booklet + songs, so it was easy
if I stopped it's simply because cc died long ago, no other reason in mind
