That's funny considering they completely removed the composers from the staff roll in the game itself (all staff no longer employed at now Bandai Namco Studios were removed). I hope this was not some guess work from some European employee.

Edit: Just to clarify, the European CE comes with 2 CDs filled with mp3s, the North American CE comes with 4 standard audio CDs. Both seem to contain the same track selection through.

Fighting of the Spirit is credited to Sakuraba, so the composer breakdown might be suspect (unless he did the Symphonia version?).

Good catch. And no, personally don't think it's his arrangement.

I changed this to 4 cds, since it is... 4 cds, but someone changed it back.

I understand the eu version is 2 cds, but why should that mean we leave the us version out of the database?

So the US edition has 4 CDs while EU got 2? Then it should be 2 separate entries.
Can you provide some links on which your info is based (about 4 CDs)?

Ok I just now saw what you said earlier about mp3 CDs, Datschge. So US and EU tracklists are the same except US got 4 actual audio CDs. Well, it's probably still better to have 2 separate entries for the sake of coherence, then to merge 2 into 1.

Also a note on the album's page that European CDs are mp3s would be helpful, as it might not be instantly obvious to some.

Whenever I see duration exceeds 80 mins per disc I assume it's not CDDA but yeah, it should be in the notes because nobody is all-knowing lol (or reads a forum thread)

4 CD version needs a separate entry.

Of course CDs can be longer than 80 minutes, I have quite a number of them...

Now if it's longer than 83, then yeah...

also, just as a note, you should check how many units this was available in in the eu.

I changed it to 18000 based on the number printed on the us edition, not the eu edition (which could have some other number)

someone check your box!

Considering the credits are just in the mp3 tags and nowhere else I wouldn't be surprised if the actual source is one of those fanmade vgm mp3s packs...

Sakuraba never arranged a piece by Tamura. I personally don't trust these credits at all.

Well, you could like listen to the tracks both have composed and arranged through all these years and draw your conclusions from that. But feel free to think European MP3 tags supersede everything else.
