Default SEO enhancements?

Is there any way we can get some SEO enhancements up in here? It seems like many times when I search on Google, the VGMdb entry is buried down under much less informative entries. VGMdb should be on top! Any thoughts?

Example: "Castlevania: Lords of Shadow Soundtrack"

I thought we were using some SEO methods, like population of the metadata tags. We always get a good position for catalog number searches. For titles, I think it's more difficult. Still, I don't know why this one slipped through the cracks.

What kind of SEO enhancements do you have in mind?

Not sure it's true (but it's Google, perhaps the most disgraced company recently so it could be) I've heard Google is actually in favor of sites with Google Adsense. So if we rank lower than some other sites, then it might be because of our nonprofit policy, ironically.

All the Google+ stuff (combined with automatic region filtering) is also screwing with search results. I guess a privacy infringing G+ button on every single page would "improve" things. >_<

There's plenty of factors Google uses and it changes a lot. Recently they've started placing a bit more emphasis on "freshness", for example. I've learnt some SEO techniques from my work which could come in useful (but really, the best thing to do is to tweak the metadata tags, improve our page layout, optimize the content to markup ratio and implement semantic tagging)
