Dang dude!!! Nice! Oh btw, no collection should be complete without the Star Wars Definitive Collection box set. This set is to date the BEST version of the NON Special Edition movies you can find. I actually broke mine out last night to watch episode IV thinking it would look like trash on a 50 inch HDTV but it looked VERY CRISP! I was blown away. It's 9 discs, ALL CAV, and comes with a book. Seriously, if you love the theatrical Star Wars films you owe it to yourself to get one. And it's come way down in price since I got mine.

Funny you should mention this. I bought Star Wars Definitive Box Set for about $80 last week off of ebay. And then watched my favorite Star Wars movie on THX LaserDisc....The Empire Strikes Back. Loved it!

I also got It's A Mad Mad Mad Mad World on LD, one of the best films EVER MADE! Also Evil ED, an awesome evil comedy horror movie. Yoko was just holding up the LDs.

OH MY GOD!!! Evil Ed?! HOW MUCH WAS IT?! I've been searching for that for YEARS!

And how about those Star Wars LD's? Man, even on a 55" display they still look good today.

Evil Ed I got for $14.99 shipping was like $5.00. I think my max bid for it was like $50. I was like, *I have to get this!!!!*....Turned out I was the only one who bidded on it. So I got it for $20. Crazy since there is only one other one on ebay right now but it's $101.39 *Buy Now*.

Only two more box sets to go to have the whole series!

Also, Tenchi Universe has the best opening theme song ever! Which leads me to saying Sonia's english opening rocks! And seeing and listening it on LD is all the better.

Yes! I have a few Tenchi Universe boxes too, great series. Good luck finding the last boxes though, they are quite elusive...

I finally tracked down the last two box sets for Tenchi Universe! =D The last two were box set 2 and 7.

The two box sets that have stickers on them are still in shrink wrap, I haven't opened them yet.

How in the... I haven't been able to get a complete Tenchi Universe for a long time... Course, I've slowed way down on my LD buying. Maybe it's time to get back into it. Looks like all the rare stuff is now available.

A good three months of checking lddb and ebay everyday for these and also I got 4 of them brand new from Dadon's Laserdiscs. Kind of a pain in the ass to track all of them down from different sources, ah well! It was worth it.

Just got done watching The Neverending Story LD. I forgot how much I liked that movie. It's been years since I have seen it. Nostalgia hit me hard on this movie. I loved it as a kid, and it's still awesome. I even went to discogs to buy the 12'' vinyl soundtrack today. Good stuff! =D

Top is the 12'' vinyl OST The Neverending Story. The bottom two are Laserdisc movies...Nothing But Trouble and The Neverending Story.

I recommend everyone to watch Nothing But Trouble it's a funny ass movie! Though my LD copy is sealed. I haven't opened it yet....But I have seen it many times before, it's awesome!

Nothing but Trouble is one of my favorite movies!!! It's SO STUPID, but SO GREAT!!! I tracked this down on DVD years ago, still watch it every now and then. "If it's an ambulance, you gotta chance. If it's in a hearse, it's gotta be worse!"

And also the dinner scene with the "dogs" never actually made me sick. It always makes me hungry. XD

Ya, there are quite a few "newer" releases on Ld in Japan. X-Men and Star Wars Episode 1 (only LD to support 6.1 surround I believe) are ones I'd like to get.

Nice to see this kind of topic here on this forum.

Here, that's all left from my LD collection; I've sold many before (Porco Rosso, GiTS, Blade Runner, Black Rain, etc...) to "upgrade" to DVD then "re-upgrade" to Blu-ray now.

Now that I see what's left, it's mostly music videos because there was no DVD edition of these later on (except a very few)

Cannot see on this picture but Seirei Tsukai (lower row, middle one) has its pre-order calendar with it.

On Your Mark, the only Ghibli I have on LD now

X² and X, the Movie
It is the CAV Box edition, obi is in the box, below are the 2 LDs, a LD size booklet in the middle and 3 illustrations on the right

Some live and music video (Luna Sea, X and Glay)
