if you're not sure of your romanization or you got yours from an obscure source, it's maybe better not to submit, don't you think?
or you submit and I (or someone else) check(s) for errors Last edited by Phonograph; Jan 4, 2011 at 11:39 AM. |

i know that anisonfan have a big knowledge in japapanese & in anime.
romanjize something is very personal, i mean if someone other pass behind one of your romanjized tracklist, it's probably sure he will be unhappy with something (like double letters "uu" or the "o" in "ou". because romanji are not a perfect science (each people romanjize at his sauce). & you will never be satisfied by a romanji tracklist submission (because it's not yours [your romanjisation style]). so i will no more share our tracklists at VGMdb. see ye, guys. it's better to put the "deaf" u, why?
because if you omit some u for certain words and you rewrite them in japanese that can give another meaning/kanji romanization is not personal like a translation could be, it's just the way to read/write japanese characters into a roman alphabet and there is a certain logic to follow when you romanize something (like verbs, adjectives, nouns, etc.) I've always been "annoyed" (not to be vulgar) when I see some verbs misromanized I don't care if the guy is unhappy because his romanization sucks and I always changed romanized tracklists in the way of the original submitter (you speak without knowing) Last edited by Phonograph; Jan 5, 2011 at 01:52 PM. |

I have recovered a page that was a good source for info on ALL the Iczer soundtracks, including cover scans:
http://web.archive.org/web/200805130...jp/iczers.html It died when Infoseek.jp went under. |

Corrected the release date. it was Jan, 11 1990. It was just a minor mistake. The one who submited saw 1990.11.01. In Europe, people do it back words. In my country it should be converted as Year - Day - Month. Personally, I find that stupid and illogical. But is just me.
