Those serial-numbered inserts in Square Enix albums
If you own at least a few Square Enix albums, you might have noticed that each album includes a serial-numbered insert with the album's catalog number.
Does anyone know why Square Enix includes these? I'd thought it might be an anti-bootlegging mechanism of some kind, though I couldn't say for sure. Interestingly, in cataloging the album I own, I've noticed that for whatever reason, the event-only albums consistently lack this insert. |
