I copied over the tracklists of Albert Odyssey 1 and 2 and made some minor corrections (some tracktitles used other kanji, we'll have to wait for scans).

As for Benkei Gaiden: Suna no Shou, I would be happy if somebody could look over it and improve it a bit, as well as take a look on the three titles that didn't really make any sense to me (so I skipped them) -- thanks!

Did this album, as well as Vol.2 get delayed? The release dates printed on the albums don't match the ones listed here.

I have Vol. 2 sitting on my shelf. It's definitely not delayed.

The release date printed on the Vol.2 album is 2011-09-28, yet VGMdb and Amazon lists it as 2011-10-12. Which one is correct?
Vol.4 is supposed to have been released 2011-11-30, but VGMdb and Amazon says it was released 2011-12-14.

My Vol. 2 is the 9-28-2011 date and I bought it probably mid-2013 or so.

Same as mine. Then I'm guessing that the one listed here and on Amazon reflects the actual date it was released? Delayed for two weeks for whatever reason.

I know these tracklists were submitted a long time ago, but can people please make sure they can read and understand kanji instead of just putting in whatever looks roughly similar? Several track titles on disc 3 were wrong here because they were translated from incorrect kanji. Luckily they were all done correctly on PCCB-00178.

I think the origin of the incorrect Kanji is the official Wave Master website after all.

Someone drunk at Wave Master that day? Some of the kanji they used don't even form proper words.

On a second look, it seems they do form actual words. Still, some really odd mistakes that I wouldn't expect from native speakers.

3.04: 天降りて "Descending from Heaven" (This isn't even an accurate translation of those kanji. Would be more like "order from on high") --> 天りて "Soaring"
3.23: 深淵の逃走 "Escape from the Abyss" --> 深淵の走 "Wandering the Abyss"
3.24: 慰めの鎖 "Chains of Comfort" --> 鎮めの鎖 "Calming Chain"

Volume 5 was cancelled? Missing a release "FT" on the cover, no?

Yes, there were 5 volumes planned but the final one never came out.

Are you sure they weren't paying homage to heavy duty SUNSO padlocks? https://cdn.store-assets.com/s/14425/i/1482438.jpeg

Seriously, though, what would have been on the 5th album?

Anyone's guess. I personally would have liked to see some more licensed games that weren't featured on Clarice's Rom Cassette Disc album like Superman MD/GEN or Manami Matsumae's GB version of Return of the Joker.

I had just realised FC Batman and Return of the Joker are on this release, which is most likely why it sells fast and for higher prices whenever a copy goes on sale.

Though, no songs loops, which is sort of a big deal. They could have added one more disc to make everything loop twice, instead of the wasted 1st print bonus disc with 16 minutes of tape-quality music...?

Cool

I feel that. Non-looping soundtracks is a crime XD

Yes, and pushing the NEXT TRACK button 50 times to find the song you want is also a sidecrime!

Is this the only official release to ever feature Batman and Return of the Joker? I have especially good memories of Return of the Joker, playing it a friend's house. Those scrolling boss stages were really something.
