Wait, why is M.U.S.H.A. on a Naxat collection?

Naxat is often associated with Compile, they probably developped the game together (or at least was financed by Naxat) ?
Also, Naxat is the publisher of the game on Wii's Virtual Console (2009).

No Zanac Neo
No Super Aleste

M.U.S.H.A. main theme is great, I'd say one of the best from Genesis era.

M.U.S.H.A. as a whole is one of my favorite Genesis soundtracks. Toshiaki Sakoda at his finest.

Can anyone comment on mastering / quality / loudness? And maybe a comparison with the standalone Scitron Recca soundtrack?

Also, is the music on SFC Spriggan Powerd any good?

I went ahead and did a first translation of the tracklist. Feel free to correct/improve anything.

Words of truth.
Oh and by the way, who composed what? I only know about Sakoda, not familiar at all with the rest of the games.

A translation of the liner notes from this album would be cool.

I'd love to get a more detailed breakdown of the trio Takeuchi-Nagao-Tanaka. Not only for the two spriggans, but for Super Aleste/Space Megaforce as well.

Gave Disc 2 of this set a listen, and 2.2 might be Tanaka? Tracks 17, 22 and 27 were pretty memorable too, oozing musical references and just screaming Compile from every note...

Do the Duo Spriggan games come with redbook audio? too lazy to check mine...

I had just hastily filled in the composers from the games' staff roles before the album was released. I guess the album itself doesn't credit anyone?

The only game that really needs a breakdown is the first Spriggan. Threw in the details from the credits for y'all.

I thought I'd check out Seirei Senshi Spriggan on YouTube and came across this, uploaded by Sakoda himself, apparently. Hope it helps with the breakdown somewhat.

Yeah, I used his artist entry name of Einosuke rather than how he's credited in the game because I don't like using in-game names on album entries unless they're actually credited like that on the album itself.

Toshiaki Sakoda used an alias in M.U.S.H.A. that I didn't add either.

Thanks, ritsukai. It would be cool to find more information about Keiji Takeuchi, since he's credited for a solo job on Spriggan Mk2, and listening to the soundtrack I've heard so many similarities with Super Aleste, so I'd assume his contribution to that work must have been significant too.

Can anyone provide insert/booklet scans for this one? It apparently has interviews with the entire MUSHA and Spriggan development teams (not just music). Would love to translate it.

I changed the title to reflect what's on the spine.

But isn't "NAXAT SOFT SHOOTING COLLECTION" meant to be merely a subtitle, where the main album title is supposed to be the evocative "Recca, Musha, Spriggans" ?

Then where did the previous title come from?
