http://www.dogearrecords.com/tbmdvd.html

Another confusing case.

Due to the DVD being mixed in 1 channel, the official release date is changed, but apparently, some retailers already started shipping it. I wonder if I should have kept the release date as before.

oh weird, the intitial batch was defective?? (mixed to only 1 channel of audio) but they had already shipped to retailers and started being sold?

I'm guessing the black sticker ones were the defects and the blue sticker ones are the fixed second batch? Or is it the other way around?

The former:

Black -> DVD with the defect (recorded in monaural channel sound)
Blue -> Fixed version

I believe Japanese customers with the inferior DVD can return it and receive the better version but I don't know if there are any procedures in which international customers can make the same exchange.

Is there a way to find out whether the DVD is the single channel defect version versus the fixed one without checking for the sticker and without transferring the 9GB DVD image to disc?

Like opening up the media player and verifying from the audio/codec data:

Quote:
Codec: DVD LPCM Audio (lpcm)
Language: Japanese
Type: Audio
Channels: Stereo
Sample rate: 48000 Hz
Bits per sample: 16
