Does anyone know anything about the accuracy of the credits in Zhane's submission? Does it specifically track who composed each track, or is it a general listing of those involved in Ys (in which case it should be reverted to Falcom Sound Team jdk).

I deleted most of them and credited Falcom Sound Team jdk, since we don't know who composed which track.

T-b-t credits are known for Ys I - IV, but after that they're not known. Instead we can only rely on game credits for Falcom Sound Team J.D.K. alloctions, specifically.

Ys V = Mieko Ishikawa, Atsushi Shirakawa, Masaru Nakajima, Naoki Kaneda, Satoshi Arai
Ys VI = Hayato Sonoda, Wataru Ishibashi
Ys Seven = Hayato Sonoda, Takahiro Unisuga, Saki Momiyama, Masanori Osaki
Ys Origin = Hayato Sonoda, Takahiro Unisuga, Ryo Takeshita

But note that this is the music and sound team, not just the music team. Mieko Ishikawa and Hayato Sonoda have also worked as sound directors as well as composers. Meanwhile some of the later credits could be sound designers or at least joint composers and sound designers. Also a lot of recent Falcom work is arranged by Yukihiro Jindo, but he's always credited separately and doesn't appear to have ever composed for them.

Yeah, that's the tricky part for those. I didn't find the track-by-track credits for IV, or at least we don't seem to have those on VGMdb.

I just want to say that's the best catalog number ever. Ys, Mushy.

I found a catalog listing here: http://homepage2.nifty.com/tkdate/ys...ys/Ys_ymh.html

It doesn't have individual composers, but it does reveal that track 20 is a vocal track, which was previously unknown.

Tracks 14 and 15 were previously credited together just as "Ys V" in the notes but I split them because track 15 is actually an arrangement from Ys V Orchestra Version. Also labeled track 16 as the vocal version
