Around 1:35 into the medley track on the Popful Mail disc there is clear use of the March from The Nutcracker by Tchaikovsky.
Not played the game but I know there's a character called Nuts Cracker so I'm assuming this is an intentional use of the theme? Maybe someone who knows more than me can give some more insight.
