Amazon description only mentions Hirano. I don't know if this means Imahori's contributions are being left out (like how Hideki Taniuchi's contributions got left out on New Challenger's soundtrack).

Yes, this is the third series. Imahori did not return for the second series in 2009. Unlike the first series, though, he is not the main composer for this one (at least from what I could tell by skimming the first episode).
Still, it would be rather disappointing for him to return to Ippo after over a decade and then not have his part of the score released.
