Just checking in case there would have been prior agreements on this, but wouldn't it be right to rename that one to Harvest Moon GB Original Sound Collection and have Bokujou Monogatari appear in the romaji subtitle ?

Does that mean there is a general consensus for games whose western names aren't literal translations of the original Japanese ones ?

I am still uncertain how to name some soundtracks..
(i think it's also a personal choice/taste)

The database should either keep the romanized titles or a direct translation, but not transform it with the name of the game that was released outside of Japan.

Or then Garou Densetsu should be Fatal Fury... and so on..

That wouldn't bother me I think, since we do have several title fields for this kind of purpose. Anyway, just wanted to make sure what everyone's opinion was about this. =)

I honestly don't see a problem with that either. As you said, VGMdb offers several title fields, so it definitely wouldn't hurt to offer more than one title so long as it is true to the soundtrack's original, of course.

Just my 2¢.

The composer's name is "CHACKey", not "Chucky". His real name is Tsuyoshi Tanaka.

edit: I updated the track list -- I've changed "Pasture Story" to "Ranch Story" (though, it could also be "Farm Story", which was used on the cover of one of the official soundtracks for a later game in the series), and change "Pitt's Theme" to "Pete's Theme" ("Pete" is the name they gave the protagonist in the GameBoy games). I've also added credits for the vocal themes that I found on anison.info.
