I've never played this game, but perhaps someone who has played it can offer some insight. The following tracklist title changes were submitted:
Holy Mother of Darkness --> Black Madonna Goodnight, Earth Gals --> Goodnight, Asgardh Are these changes reasonable? I think the first one is just an interpretation, and the new translation is probably a little better. The second one depends on in-game characters. |

Ran across this thread at STC explaining the reasoning behind those two changes. Seems reasonable to me.

Excellent. I think that explains the complete rationale for the changes. Salvanis is the one who made the changes here, too.

I went over the old WA1 OSTs translations and fixed/synched them.
Old translation for reference: WA:AC:
As for Madonna/Holy Mother, the US games do use Holy Mother but I left Madonna since it's pretty good translation. |

A few notes on a few track titles since I'm playing this game right now...
2-12 The Shaman Princess As much as I hate the use of the word "shaman" the remake (the US version of Alter code:F) uses it to describe Cecilia. For example, the text will say "the Guardians' Warriors and Shaman" as apposed to the soundtracks for the original game which leaned towards calling her a "sorceress." I'm not saying it's 100% correct as Agetech's localization effort for the game was insanely silted as it was full of errors but just pointing out what's here matches what most people would expect if they had played the game. 3-22 The Four of Steel This title makes a lot more sense now... there are four Quarter Knights and their bodies are made of cold, emotionless steel. 4-03 Sword Princess Formerly "Murdering Princess," I always thought "murdering" fit the character this track is for pretty well considering all the sins she committed, but the character indeed goes by the nickname "The Sword Princess" in the remake's script. |

2-12 uses 巫女 which is more or less a "shrine maiden" or "medium" of spirits (guardians). Sorceress is no good, but shaman is a bit meh too. Maybe they wanted it to sound more ethnic.
4-03 the original is indeed like "murdering/slashing princess", but since it's just a nickname and WA OSTs often used the US translations (ie 'Filgaia' rather than 'Fargaia') I decided to use it too. EDIT: an oddity but I noticed the game (that uses pre-recorded audio) has differences vs the OST, some slight (ex. 1.12, 2.04, 2.13, 3.22), some bigger (1.06, 1.10).
