Another Otokichi purchase of mine, the old tracklist information was a bit off compared to the real thing.

Old Info:

New Info:
01 March Dragon Quest 4:27
02 March Dragon Quest Medley 4:55

What is the difference between the two tracks?

They start off sounding similar, but Side B throws in a few arranges of other songs at the middle/ending.
(while Side A is just the single March)

The original lengths were for the cassette version (KHY-1019), not the EP. That is, the cassette version is not technically an alternate printing but its own printing with long versions of both songs. These are the recordings:

Thanks for pointing that out.

Over the years, there has been a few discoveries about shorter/longer tracks between the media formats (cassette vs vinyl) for early albums like this.

Back when the child/parent reprint system was being implemented, there certainly wasn't any anticipation that there could be (or would be) variances, so this type of issue is always a surprise to me. Who could have guessed, right?!
