i'm looking for info on 5/4 takepod and their relation to dead ball project. are they one and the same?

As the artist profile pages shows, Deadball P = Takepon Maki = Ryo Takeshita.

Interesting that he became a freelancer, because in Falcom the orders from the boss (= composing those usual cheesy, generic yet melodic jdk stuff) had higher priority than individual creativity or even customer satisfaction.

Hmm, how do you know? I'd say Takeshita's style was well represented on the games he worked on.

Edit: I'm now not that convinced of my opinion above (I think it's more likely to be Takahiro Unisuga's track)
