So far, found that he uses 3 different names:

- Yukoh Kusunoki: it's like his official name which can be found on most solo albums as well as twitter, school academy profile, Victor website, etc...

-Kyosuke Kusunoki [楠木 恭介]: only found on his 1st solo album (1985)

- Tatsushi Kusunoki [楠木達志]: wrote songs for SMAP or MISIA, etc... some CM also.
A google search can help find the romanization in meta tag of Victor website:

Looks like Yukoh to me. The notes state that he did the Coca-Cola CM song. It is also stated in his Yukoh profile

I know and do agree with that. There are other sites we can find his name. I just wanted to give an easy one here. Plus clicking this entry, it redirects to Yukoh's album and SMAP...

I disagree here. 達志 is valid. As well as 達士 or たつし.

I don't doubt 達士 or たつし. Seen them before as well. Same reading anyway.

I doubt your "it should be". You would have said "it could be also", then fine. This guy is tricky with his name(s)

So let's say his "3rd" name is Tatsushi Kusunoki [楠木 達志/達士/たつし]

I knew you would pull out the JASRAC thing.
He's indeed registered under the artist name 達士, but he seldom uses it, using 達志 instead.
I don't believe Toshiki Kadomatsu or Yoshinobu Hiraiwa are wrong when writing down his name. He worked with them, they know him well.
Same, it's not possible that Victor is wrong about their own artist. And same goes for Oricon, mu-mo, hikari-tv, kasi-time, Johnny's net, Billboard Japan, Joysound, etc... All with this same mistake? Not possible, not at this scale...

None of the 3 ways of writing Tatsushi are wrong. Case closed for me
