In regards to the album's title, should it not be "Canary ~Put These Feelings Into Song~ Soundtrack Song For You"? This would reflect the Japanese title and what's held at Chudah's Corner (http://www.chudahscorner.com/soundtr...atalog=ABCA-67)

Also, as implied by the Chudah's Corney page, is the composer of tracks 7-12 Riverside Music? (I editted the notes just to clarify which composer composed which karaoke tracks, too)

There's a bit of freedom here, since all that the Front cover says is Canary Soundtrack - Song For You.

I'm not sure about Riverside Music as the composer for 7-12. That might be a generic "catch-all" for the uncredited tracks, so it'd be nice to see the booklet on this one.

Noriyasu Agematsu and Takehiro Kawabe were both part of Riverside Music back in 2000, incidentally.

The Japanese title on the obi just says "Canary Original Soundtrack", without the subtitle.

Huh, interesting. I guess that clears up my query in regards to the album title, but yeah, composer information for tracks 7-12 would be fantastic.

I got a copy of this one with the Obi so I added an image of it.

These are the original PC staff sound credits from the console ports (both Dreamcast and PS2):
Quote:
Cooperation: CATS, Riverside Music, Remain, とろいめらい
Sound Produce: CATS, 砂流風音 (Clapscrap)
Sound Directors: Osamu Abukawa, 443 (Clapscrap)
So it doesn't seem like the BGM is necessarily all by Riverside Music, although I haven't found the original PC staff roll so that could credit it to them

The Obi also doesn't mention anything about BGM. It seems like the Obi is indicating that tracks 7~12, the "character themes", are image songs. That usually implies they were created for this album release. Thoughts?

They're present in the Dreamcast version of the game (music mode #s 2~6 and 15), which came out after this album, although I don't know if they're in the original Windows release https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3vL--5EX6FI

Cheers! Nice detective work. I'd imagine they are likely in the original version as well then.

As for 桜井麻衣子 in the performers, I don't think there's any other way to read that name besides Maiko Sakurai.

Hello, I own the actual PC version of the game and can confirm that they're all in the PC version of the game. Except Megumi's image BGM. Bamboo really has a thing for changing up track tunes in soundtrack releases lol.
