Info on the contens of the CD is hard to find, any help?

I suspect this could be CPCA-10171/4, if somebody has the CD and could check it that'd be great.

After taking a look at the content and this here, wouldn't "O.S.T." be the correct title instead of "Original Soundtrack"?

EDIT: Well. It actually says O.S.T. Original Sound Track.

I'd say that 'Original Sound Track' part is just meant as a notice for what the abbreviation above means, so I removed it.

I don't think so, Capcom reissued Biohazard 4 and Biohazard Code: Veronica Complete at the same time as that DMC thing there, both with soundtracks - and both those had different track lists compared to the original OST releases.

You are right, probably it isn't CPCA-10171/4. Looking at your Cove Veronica page I see "KPDL-00003" in the matrix code, that would be the cat number right? I think it's sometimes printed there (example). I guess DMC could be KPDL-00001/2/4.

I guess that would be the item's catalog number, yes (though you can never be sure unless it's printed on the disc, unless it's obvious - I'd say it's obvious in this case).

Catalog number or not, in this case (Code: Vero) all you have to do is compare the tracklist/ matrix code to other released CV OSTs, and there are none like it.

I guess they didn't print any catalog number on the disc as it's just a part of a product, the OST is not a product in itself - as far as Capcom is concerned, that is covered by the SLPM number on the game. Catalog number or not (again!), yes I bet you'd find a similar number in the DMC OST matrix.


Feel free to sweep through the soundtrack categories for RE/SH/DC on my site, and use whichever images which aren't covered on vgmdb. Kindly credit my site if possible.

As a follow up to KPDL discussion, I got this:

KPDL-00001 = Biohazard 4 O.S.T.
KPDL-00002 = ???
KPDL-00003 = BIOHAZARD -CODE: Veronica- O.S.T.
KPDL-00004 = GOD TRACKS!
KPDL-00005 = Sengoku BASARA 2 Complete Concert ~Basara Festival 2006 Summer Campaign~ Character Voice CD
KPDL-00006 = Sengoku BASARA special video DVD

The last one (KPDL-00006) is a DVD and it's not a soundtrack and is not in a database. It's this included with this.
And it looks like 00006 was the last one in KPDL family, nothing above it brings any results.

So my guess is that DEVIL MAY CRY O.S.T. is KPDL-00002.
No hard evidence until someone with the disc can confirm it, but most likely that's what it is. Came out at the same time as Biohazard 4 O.S.T. and BIOHAZARD -CODE: Veronica- O.S.T..

We finally have more data on this CD and its page has been edited accordingly (catalogue number, track names and track lengths). The last page of the instruction manual helpfully provides the latter two. One day when I remember I'll add a scan of that. Lastly, unless I did a flawed rip (which is possible), AccurateRip did not have a record of this CD before today.
