Who composed the decent but out-of-place metal intro for the Western version intro of Alundra?

The Japanese version intro is the song "Alundra" (Track 1) looped once and is half gameplay demo emphasising the puzzles and environment-exploring in this game and half enemy fights.

The American version replaces the original song with a rock/metal tune and is arguably, stereotypically action-packed. It is half anime (mainly enemy fights plus token eye-candy female) and half gameplay vid (mainly enemy fights again). I do however, like the synchronisation between the two groups of drum beats and the two laser blasts.

While I'm at it, great game. A combination of Zelda-style action-RPG plus Estpolis/Lufia-style heavy emphasis on puzzle solving in addition to an interesting story and of course varied soundtrack. Also track 6 "Requiem" was reused in The Legaia Densetsu (Legend of Legaia) game.

Fav tracks:
The Wind that Crosses the Earth
Kline's Dream
Tohra, the Mountain of Flame
The Twins' Dream
The Holy Demon Shrine, Arisen

Bill King, who did additional music for other Working Designs translations too. He was left out of Alundra's credits, but Vic Ireland named him during the failed Class of Heroes 2 Kickstarter: http://www.gaijinworks.com/news/03-2...e-kickstarter/

"This is the craziest Deluxe Pack I've ever done. And if you know my work at Working Designs, you know that's a pretty high bar already," said Ireland. "Fans of things like the Star Dragon Tower theme from LUNAR, Alundra's opening, and the Dragon Force demo theme will be happy to know that Bill King, who made those memorable themes and many others in the Working Designs days, is handling the arranged soundtrack that will be part of the Deluxe Pack. Fans are really in for a treat."
