Default Liner Notes Translations - Your Suggestions?

After a recent lag, the team at SEMO are working hard to revive two sections of the site: interviews with Japanese composers and liner notes translations of Japanese soundtracks. In doing so, we're trying to make a good balance of coverage -- mainstream and lesser-known, new and old, different game genres, etc.

We wondered if any members of the VGM community had any suggestions on liner notes translations they'd like to see. We obviously won't be able to accept all suggestions, due to time and money constraints. However, we'd definitely love to get your input and put some more translations out there. Cheers.

I like track-by-track commentaries like in Final Fantasy XIII or several Basiscape soundtracks (Odin Sphere, Deltora Quest, Oh! Samurai Girls S), but maybe those would be too much. For more feasible suggestions, I wonder what Gradius V's or Master of Monsters' (Sugiyama's notes, Matsuo's notes) say.

In my eyes, the ideal way is to let each translator pick up whatever he/she thinks it will be a great read for site visitors. I personally don't prefer to decide coverage on a franchise basis or an artist basis, as the style or quality of liner notes do vastly vary in each soundtrack release, and just because some installments of the franchise provide interesting liner notes in their soundtrack release doesn't mean the rest also is of the same quality. A composer who is talkative and reveals their sentiments in one booklet can just leave a formal filler commentary next time.

Also, you don't necessarily have to limit your coverage to liner notes. Some interviews in guide books (especially Ultimania series) are, while no less illicit, often give very interesting stories, too.

Saidaioujou OST, Street Fighter EX2 Arrange Album and Sekaiju no Meikyuu III Seikai no Raihousya Super Arrange Version.

It would be awesome to see translations of the interviews published on the Shooting Gameside and Arcadia magazine too.

I agree with Cedille. But for my own selfish reasons: Axelay & Contra Spirits. Pop 'n' Twinbee Graffiti. Or any early Capcom, Konami or Nintendo notes for that matter.

I know this one's a big request, but I'd love to see translations of the liner notes from the biohazard SOUND CHRONICLE BEST TRACK BOX. Not necessarily the individual track comments, but that'd be a sweet bonus of course.
